I was able to buy a self help book of Dr. Peale titled The power of positive thinking. It was really a great book that changed my perspective in life. I am very grateful to have this book. I became more positive and believed that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13) 🙏🙂

Thanks for the thoughtful comment Brayden! Whether or not self-help books will benefit you comes down to who you are as a person, and (as you say) if you put your knowledge to action. 🙂

I’ve read/listened to a few, but I’ve seen very slow improvement. I often worried that I just don’t have what it takes to make important changes in myself. It is encouraging to hear others say that the advice in these books actually works. It gives me some hope that I can still change myself even after so many failed attempts. I think I need to focus more on application, and less on just hearing what people have to say. It feels good for a little while, but books don’t change people, their active decisions to take steps toward improvement does.

Self-help books like The Subtle art of Not Giving F*CK, Declutter your mind, The inner universe helped me to think clearly, on the other hand, books Like Atomic Habit by James Clear helped me a lot to execute my ideas. It actually helped me to decide my priorities and helped me build that system brick-by-brick that is required to reach the pinnacle of success.
